Hi Folks
Up today I have one of the coolest neo vintage Tanks around.
The Basculante has long been one of my favourite tanks, akin to the Reverso with its distinctive flippable case.
Unlike the Reverso which flips on a horizontal axis, the Basculante flips vertically, making it ideal for desk top or bedside clock status.
The watch features a grey dial with a guilloche type motif across the dial, and a blue cabochon at the 12 o clock position above the crown.
The watch is in overall good used condition with hairlines and scratches across the case, though nothing major.
The watch measures 23.5mm x 35.5mm, an equivalent of a current Tank Must Large example.
Pictured on my 7.3” wrist, the watch is a fair bit smaller than I’m used to, but would work ideally for a wrist size between 5.5-6.8”
The strap is original to the watch and while showing signs of wear, is perfectly usable for a long while.
The handset has some minor wear to it on close inspection, though not uncommon for the era these were produced.
The package includes the watch and double box.
Comparables are all over the place but hover between $5700-6600 across the border.
I’m asking $5575 shipped from the GTA within Canada.
