Hey folks
Up today I have my Spitfire ref IW387903 in very good used condition.
The watch comes as a full set, dated 2019 with warranty extended to 2027.
The crystal is flawless with a few faint hairlines on the AR coating.
The case itself is in excellent condition with no discernible signs of wear, a tall order on a watch about 6 years old!
The strap is in excellent condition with about lots of life left in it
The Spitfire has been one of my favourites in the pilot Chronograph lineup due to the value you get with an in house column wheel movement, a bit more of a bargain than the Valjoux based 7750 pieces.
Running at a steady +2s/day, this is as robust a timekeeper as I’ve seen from a chronograph. Never has a chrono been so tastefully busied with a day and date complication, which makes this one of my favourite chronograph recommendations around.
At the 41mm it’s suitable for most wrists and renders a bit of a militaristic look tactically with the aged leather strap and fauxtina handset/cardinal hour markings.
Coming as a full set with everything pictured, it’s ready for a new home.
Retail is now $9700 plus tax, while I’m offering it here over 45% off at $5250 shipped from the GTA
