Up for grabs is my near mint condition Metro Date Power Reserve ref 1101.
When the name “Nomos” comes to mind, this here is the model that is visualized more often than not.
Quintessential, simple, elegant and Bauhaus are all words that can describe this model.
Despite the power reserve indicator being asymmetrically placed, it still manages to bring balance to the dial.
Aside from a few handling marks from being rubbed down by my microfibre, there are no other signs of wear to the watch.
The syringe style hands seem to continue endlessly outward the dial and the knurled crown adds added grip and haptics to a watch that is as aesthetically pleasing as it is a joy to wear.
At 37mm, with a lug to lug of 43.6mm and a thickness of 7.7mm, this watch will unobtrusively accompany you on your daily tasks, simply suggesting the time of day, should you choose to be bothered by such restrictions.
The watch comes as a full set with polishing cloth, warranty card, envelope, stickers and the watch. Dated Feb 2026, it retains the bulk of the factory warranty.
Equipped with Nomos’ proprietary swing system, the DUW4401 cal is finished rather well for the retail price of $5830, and more so at my 35% reduction of $3830 shipped from the GTA
